Adult Correctional Health

Adult Correctional Health provides health care services to adults within the county jail facilities.  Services include primary care, women's health, behavioral health, pharmacy, ancillary, specialty, and hospital services.  Most of the specialty services and all of the hospital services are provided offsite.  Service delivery is provided through county staff and contracted providers.

Reentry Opportunities and Access to Resources (ROAR) Portal

Adult Correctional Health's ROAR Program focuses on helping formerly incarcerated individuals reintegrate into society and address core challenges like recidivism, homelessness, and unemployment. The ROAR Portal allows registered Community-Based Organization users to submit an engagement form and update client information. 

California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) Justice-Involved Initiative

California Advancing and Improving Medi-Cal (CalAIM) Justice-Involved (JI) Initiative is an initiative by the California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) that focuses on improving health outcomes for individuals who are justice-involved. CalAIM JI seeks to streamline and transform Medi-Cal by integrating healthcare, behavioral health, and supportive services that address social determinants of health to support continuity of care and successful reentry.
