Inmate Patient Care

Adult Correctional Health (ACH) established a phone number and an email address for the purpose of addressing questions or concerns about individuals incarcerated at the Main Jail or the Rio Cosumnes Correctional Center. This phone number and email address is set up for all of our customers, such as family members, attorneys, other correctional agencies, and other concerned parties.

If a family member/friend is incarcerated at a Sacramento County jail facility, and you are uncertain whether we are aware of an important physical health and/or mental health condition, please see the Inmate Patient Care contact information.

Release of Health Information​​

Adult Correctional Health cannot disclose any physical health and/or mental health treatment information to family or friends due to federal and state privacy laws.  If an inmate would like to share his/her healthcare information with family or friends, he/she can fill out a “Release of Information” form and designate authorized recipients of physical health and/or mental health treatment information.
