Who Can Use This Service?
Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic (MHUCC) serves:
- All ages
- People experiencing emotional distress or crisis
- People with mental health and/or substance use concerns
- People who are not currently receiving services from the Department of Health Services
- People who need help but are not in immediate danger
Family members, caregivers, and loved ones are welcome to come for support or guidance.
For Children, Teens, and Families
The Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic (MHUCC) serves children and youth, as well as adults.
Staff use age-appropriate approaches to support children, teens, and families. When needed, families may be connected to youth-specific services for ongoing care.

You can receive services at the Mental Health Urgent Care Clinic (MHUCC) if you:
- Are a Sacramento County resident
- Need mental health support
You do not need:
- A referral
- An appointment
- Insurance
People with private insurance can still receive services.
